Haas F1 Team Shakes Up Staff Ahead of 2025 Season
In a major overhaul, Haas F1 Team has made sweeping changes to its personnel lineup in preparation for the upcoming 2025 Formula 1 season. This move comes as team principal Ayao Komatsu aims to address weaknesses and elevate the team’s performance on the track.
New Faces, New Roles
Among the key changes are the promotions of Laura Mueller and Ronan O’Hare to the roles of race engineers for the team’s drivers. Mueller, who started her F1 journey as a simulator engineer at Haas, will now be working with Ocon, while O’Hare, who brings experience from Williams and NIO Formula E team, will be supporting Bearman.
Additionally, Haas has welcomed Carine Cridelich as the head of race strategy, adding a valuable asset to the team’s decision-making process. Francesco Nenci, with a rich engineering background at Toyota, Sauber, and Marussia, has joined as the chief race engineer, further strengthening the technical side of the team.
Addressing Weaknesses
Komatsu emphasized that the changes in personnel were necessary to improve the team’s performance, especially in trackside operations.
